This article highlights the reality that so many American still carry the stereotype of who should be an American. Our founding fathers wanted people of different backgrounds and yet often people still carry these presumptions around with them. Where has our real American dream gone? WE need less assumptions of who should be here, as long as the are people that want to be part of our America. They can assimilate here and still maintain portions of their heritage and culture. The “melting pot” sometimes demonstrates an attitude of one flavor in its pot. We need to be better and strive more for a flavor that all can appreciate.
What are we tipping for? Where has the grace gone and appreciation for the American Dream?
